COACH JACOBS

BULLETIN BOARD!

URGENT

Panther Family, I am extremely proud of the feedback I've been getting about our character and effort that was given this past Friday to our school district! We need to answer the bell again. We have been requested to be at Illini Middle School at 8am this Tuesday, May 31st, to help load and move again. Please make every effort to be there. It is another great "opportunity" to serve our district and display our character! It's things like this that make us SPECIAL!!!

SPECIAL ATTENTION

John Kaylor from Kesslers Sporting Goods will be at JCHS at 10am (after Strength/Speed Training) on Wednesday June 8th. You will have the opportunity to order Nike Football cleats from him, or, you will be able to order them online.

FROM

COACH JACOBS

Hello All-

As the summer approaches, it is a necessity that we get our practice field in shape.  We are starting to put treatments down to help the current practice field conditions. So--Sunday Gatherings and Open Field Sessions are cancelled as of today.  We want to make sure we have the best facility available when Summer Opportunities start in June.  Please stay off the grass.  We will also be doing some renovations to the inside of the Complex as well.

Pending school board approval, Camp/Opportunity forms will be available soon.  Please look for them via e-mail and at each school.

The energy and enthusiasm is high.  I can't wait to actually move and start having some fun!

Contact me with questions.

Let's be special!!!!!!!

Thanks!!

SINCLAIRS

MR. PANTHER AWARD

This award is presented to the Panther player who best displayed dedication, Integrity and Loyalty for the sake of his team.

2010 Winner:

Jason Hamilton

JCHS Football Hall of Fame

1928

1928 was a struggle to find game articles, but alas pantherfb.org dug deep into the archives of the old and now defunct Jersey County Democrat. Although the material shows it's age and is very hard to read, most of the game stories are more detailed than those from previous years. Notice that the author of most of these stories was Frederick Miller a Sophomore. Miller, joined the Varsity football team in 1929 as a Junior and also played in 1930 while a Senior. He was a very special young man and gets a special salute from this website for all he accomplished for our football program.
